FAQs

Why was the 2020 festival postponed?

Due to COVID-19, Country On The Bay made the difficult decision to postpone the 2020 festival for the safety of our patrons, volunteers, vendors, service providers, artists, sponsors and staff. We are following the guidelines of provincially mandated regulations for public health and safety, including social distancing.

Will my tickets automatically be honored for the 2021 festival dates?

Yes.  We will be reaching out to each and every ticket purchaser in the coming weeks to discuss options available and how to proceed. Those who do not request a refund will have their tickets automatically honored for the 2021 festival dates.

What’s the best thing to do at this time regarding my tickets or requesting a refund?

Please be patient with us. We are currently working with the Thunder Bay Auditorium on the process of refunds, if required. Our staff is currently following COVID-19 public health orders and working remotely as well. We will be reaching out to each and every ticket purchaser in the coming weeks with options and details as we want to make this process as seamless as possible for everyone.

How do I request a refund?

We will be reaching out to each and every ticket purchaser in the coming weeks to discuss options available and how to proceed.

When will refunds be processed?

Due to the complicated nature of this process and the added administration involved, refunds will take between 30-60 days from the refund request deadline, which will be announced shortly.

I have won tickets to Country On The Bay 2020, what happens now?

We will be releasing information for the 2020 ticket winners in the next coming weeks on what the process will be for moving your tickets into 2021.

I want to keep my tickets for 2021. Will the lineup remain the same?

We're currently working with agents and artists and are very hopeful that the 2020 festival artists will return for the 2021 festival. Confirmed artists returning for the 2021 festival currently are Toby Keith, Terri Clark, High Valley, The Hunter Brothers, The Road Hammers, Washboard Union, The Reklaws and Madeline Merlo. However, we cannot guarantee the rest of the lineup will not change.  Lineup subject to change without notice.
